Threadless is great for collaborations, and a fellow member, Daniel Arzola, wrote to me with this great idea. Initially I thought it could be digitally created, but soon it became obvious that a photograph would be perfect. I think this design must’ve subliminally came after the previous one, despite there being quite some time and a trip overseas between them. I was experimenting with type and drew a joined up ampersand which resembled an infinity symbol. After a community vote on colours, this was the most popular version of the design.
