Keep Calm

I see a lot of takes on the “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster which first came about at the start of World War 2. It was produced by the Ministry of Information to try and boost morale in a frightening and depressing time. The image is now in the public domain and as such could be the reason for the parodies cropping up everywhere.
So I thought I would have a bit of fun with it. All the images above are available as prints and iPhone cases on Society 6.

Potty

I love Harry Potter. As an adult I probably shouldn’t. The reason why I like it is that it takes me back to being a kid. I loved being a kid more than I like being an adult, something that can bring that feeling back is special, just like Vimto and cheese and onion square crisps.

Love

This was for another Threadless challenge, for Aids charity Product (Red). Many designs featured Africa and Butterflies, that’s what won it.

The whole tragedy of AIDS & HIV is that about two thirds of infections occur through sex. It seems so cruel that some thing so devastatingly bad can come from one of life’s most beautiful and pleasurable things. The work of PRODUCT ( RED ) brings much needed support and awareness to the cause, which I wanted to convey with this design.

Tron

I always try and think of something different for Threadless challenges – there were a lot of Tron outfits and people on lightcycles for this challenge. I wasn’t too dissapointed that the winning design was one of the most original subs. Congrats to Gavin
